Narrative Description of Project:

This project was aimed to develop the strategic master scheme for the hydro-meteorological network improvement in the Mekong river basin and institutional development of the line agencies in the riparian countries.

Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff:

New Strategic Master Scheme for hydro-meteorological network was developed and roles of MRC were defined. Guidelines for proper network configuration and quality control of data were formulated. Institutional strengthening and capacity building measures for hydro-meteorological network development were dealt on. Developed phase wise strategy for hydro-meteorological network and institutional improvement in the riparian countries of the Mekong basin.
