Narrative description of Project:
This pivotal role entails supporting the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in initiating and implementing the project in Bhutan and Nepal, with the ultimate aim of achieving successful outcomes and expanding the initiative beyond these initial countries. As the analyst, you will assume a central position in kickstarting the project and overseeing its day-to-day operations. By facilitating the establishment of the project and ensuring its smooth functioning, you will contribute significantly to ADB's broader objectives of fostering development and sustainability in the region.
Description of actual services provided in the assignment:
· Assist in the day-to-day implementation of the TA and provide support in the performance of all tasks assigned by the TA coordinator (being recruited separately) and ADB TA Team;
· Call and organize the logistics for meetings and workshops, and prepare and disseminate the agenda and other meeting or workshop materials;
· Ensure the minutes of meetings are recorded, distributed, and maintained;
· Maintain comprehensive and clear accounts, and monitor project implementation unit expenditures and fund flows;
· Prepare withdrawal applications, financial statements, and any other activity required to manage the financial operations of the TA; 6.Handle administrative issues related to the TA;
· Assist in preparing the TA progress reports;
· Maintain necessary records for the TA and file project documents in accordance with ADB guidelines; and Provide secretariat support and other duties as required by the TA team.
